Melbourne, 30 July 2020 – Shoreline is pleased to announce the appointment of Harry Coombes as Associate Director within our Australian business. Harry joins our Melbourne team to lead Shoreline’s middle and back office practice and assist in deepening our operating model service offering to asset manager and asset owner clients.
Shoreline’s Executive Director Bruce Russell says “we are delighted that Harry has joined the Shoreline team. With a great background in the services that our customers value, Harry is an excellent complement to the existing team. He has a strong understanding of the complexities of our clients’ operations and the operating models that work in our industry”.
Harry Coombes says “I am excited to join the Shoreline team and drive growth in the middle and back office consulting practice. Supporting current and future partnerships in financial services is a crucial part of the operating environment. Decisions around optimising middle and back-office services create real opportunities that support broader operating model considerations. Making the right choice needs a long term view of relationships, coupled with a clear and equal understanding of each parties’ business.”
Harry has worked in financial services outsourcing and administration for 15 years with experience across Australia, UK, Ireland and Luxembourg. Prior to Shoreline, Harry has worked with several custodians in roles covering large scale transformation, internal strategy, program and project delivery, and client services. He has also led operational teams focusing on the delivery of external change for customers and brings a wealth of experience in operating model design throughout the financial services industry.
