Shoreline Appoints North America Head

Sydney, June 15, 2022 – Shoreline Consulting (‘Shoreline’), a leading advisor to asset and wealth management firms, is continuing to expand into North America and has hired Toronto based Carol Penhale as regional head effective immediately.

Shoreline has extensive investment industry expertise in the areas of operations, technology, and data management, having worked with many large asset owners and asset managers across the Asia Pacific region over its thirteen-year history.

Carol has a deep background in business, technology, and data issues for the financial services industry, including global business trends such as ESG, FPL and SBL, local trends such as T+1 in North America, SFTR in Europe and intelligent automation trends such as cryptocurrency, RPA, bitcoin, DLT and asset tokenization.  Carol has assisted firms both locally and globally in EMEA, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

Carol has held senior business, technology and consulting roles in startups as well as mature and publicly listed firms in her 35 years of experience for financial institutions/intermediaries and vendors to the financial services space, including Cutter Associates, Broadridge Consulting and McKinsey. She has assisted many C-level decision makers with strategic business and technology optimization for operations to remain competitive.

Ms. Penhale holds a Diploma in Programming and Systems Analysis from The Institute for Computer Studies, a B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in History from the University of Edinburgh.
