Chris Robertson has worked in the investment management industry for 27 years. His focus has been the application of artificial intelligence within a portfolio management environment. Most recently he led the development of the artificial intelligence capability for an investment manager to create global equity portfolios for investors.
Prior to Shoreline, Chris was Investment Director at CFSGAM where he was responsible for the development of CFSGAM’s Australian Equity business strategy. Chris has extensive money management experience having managed active quantitative equity portfolios at State Street Global Advisors and Schroders, as well as being a Senior Research Analyst at Perpetual Investments.
Martin Walther has spent over 20 years in financial services and IT industries. He has worked with AI for over a decade, andholds a Masters Degree in Artificial Intelligence. He has worked with major banks and wealth managers in Australia and overseas leveraging AI to solve problems such as underwriting life insurance, reviewing the suitability of financial advice, and assuring regulatory compliance in credit markets.
Before joining Shoreline, Martin was Chief Architect for a major (ASX 50) financial services organisation where he oversaw the operationalisation of large enterprise platforms including big data (data lakes) and the implementation of AI systems that leveraged these platforms.
